Allowing the coconut oil to soften will make it easier to incorporate into your recipe. Coconut oil becomes a liquid when it reaches 76 degrees. Often room temperature will keep it in liquid form. However, if needed, you can heat it up in the microwave. Start in ten second increments, mixing between each one until you reach your desired consistency.
You can substitute the beef broth for whatever protein your dog prefers. You can even use bone broth!
Regular rolled oats will also work in place of quick cook oats, but it will change the consistency of the dough. You may need to add more liquid.
Using crunchy peanut butter is not recommended. The large chunks of peanuts may not be safe for your dog.
You can give one treat to your dog as needed. Do not exceed the recommended dosage of CBD each day.
